About IMS Lab

Introduction

The Intelligent Machines Lab. has been founded by Prof. Jongwon Yoon of Hanyang University. Our research interests are classified into systems and machine learning. Specifically, the system area includes wireless networks such as cellular and Wi-Fi, mobile computing, and embedded systems. And in machine learning, we are investigating reinforcement learning and GAN (Generative Adversarial Networks).

Professor

Jongwon Yoon

I am currently an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Hanyang University. I graduated with a Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from University of Wisconsin-Madison. During my graduate years, I worked in Wisconsin Wireless and NetworkinG Systems (WiNGS) Lab. with Prof.Suman Banerjee. I worked on interesting problems on wireless communication and mobile networking. My research work has been supported by a Lawrence Landweber Fellowship (2013-2014).

Recruiting Postdoctoral Researcher

Our lab is recruiting postdoctoral researchers (full-time) interested in artificial intelligence and mobile systems. Details are as follows.

  • Deadline: Open Until Filled
  • Number of opening position: 1
  • fixed-term (until December 31, 2021), full-time (5 days a week, from 9 to 17)
  • Responsibilities: Research on artificial intelligence and mobile systems.
  • Required Qualification
    1. Ph.D.
    2. One or more SCI/SCIE journals in the last three years (lead or corresponding author)
    3. English speaker (foreigner)
  • Preferred Qualification
    1. Research experience in artificial intelligence and mobile systems.
    2. English speaker (Korean)
